environmental policy
At Thrislington, we believe one of the most important factors in helping to protect the environment is the life cycle of a product. Thrislington’s products are built to stand the test of time, enabling reduced material usage and the need for replacement product.
All our core materials are sourced from sustainably managed forests and other controlled sources, we can supply full chain of custody documentation to meet *FSC® and **PEFC (PEFC/16-37-1730) certification on request. We are also able to supply core materials with no added formaldehyde (NAUF) and adhesives meeting zero VOC requirements.
All our aluminum has a minimum of 60% recycled content and is 100% recyclable further down the chain. Our Stainless Steel has a minimum 70% recycled content and again is 100% recyclable.
There are a number of environmental regulations we work to, including BREEAM ®, SKA, WELL and LEED. The spectrum of requirements to meet these regulations is extensive and we typically are able to provide a solution for your project needs. In addition, we supply more finishes than any other cubicle manufacturer on the market, which influences the material build-up of a cubicle.
If you are working on a project trying to achieve a certain environmental accreditation, then please contact us to discuss further.
